The Attitude of Entitlement

,
entitlement

The Attitude of Entitlement is rife. Globally rife.

It looks like this:

  • I’m entitled to my civil liberties. I live in a democracy.
  • I’m entitled to my human rights. I’m human.
  • I’m entitled to a roof over my head. It’s a basic human need.
  • I’m entitled to a pay rise. I deserve it.
  • I’m entitled to my white privilege. I was born with white skin.
  • I’m entitled to my black woman magic. I was born with black skin.
  • I’m entitled to have a child if I want to.
  • I’m entitled to have an abortion if I want to. It’s my body.
  • I’m entitled to starve myself.
  • I’m entitled to gain weight.
  • I’m entitled to have sex with whoever I want. It’s my body.
  • I’m entitled to branch out on my own.
  • I’m entitled to call myself a Priestess. I’ve done the work.
  • I’m entitled to see my child. I’m the biological parent.
  • I’m entitled to free health care / health insurance because I live in a certain country.
  • I’m entitled to borderless travel, life & work because I live in the EU.
  • I’m entitled to carry a gun.
  • I’m entitled to vote.
  • I’m entitled not to vote. It’s my life.
  • I’m entitled to shut someone down / correct someone / voice my opinion.
  • I’m entitled to my freedom of speech.
  • I’m entitled to break the law.
  • I’m entitled to a vaccine.
  • I’m entitled to decline a vaccine. It’s my life.
  • I’m entitled to a government that will protect me.
  • I’m entitled to parents who will protect me.
  • I’m entitled to a partner who will love, honour and obey me.
  • I’m entitled to leave a relationship I don’t want to be in.
  • I’m entitled to bring suffering on someone who has caused me pain.
  • I’m entitled to justice.
  • I’m entitled to go to heaven because I’ve followed religious law. I’ve done the work.
  • I’m entitled to condemn others because they don’t follow my religious law.
  • I’m entitled to superiority. I’ve done the work.
  • I’m entitled to protest peacefully.
  • I’m entitled to loot and riot and shout and scream to be heard.
  • I’m entitled to be heard.
  • I’m entitled to my beliefs.
  • I’m entitled to build a life of my own design. I deserve it.
  • (I’m entitled to my ignorance)

It goes on. And it’s endless.

And it’s usually validated with:

  • It’s my life
  • It’s my body
  • I’ve done the work / I deserve it

Truth time. No one is entitled to anything.

All of the above have been earned at some point by a collective surge in consciousness (sometimes for the few and sometimes for the many, but not quite for the all).

The fact that many of us enjoy these entitlements from our silver platters doesn’t mean we’ve earned them.

We will validate anything we want to believe, because our beliefs protect us by providing containment.

And when we’re greeted with someone or something that challenges those beliefs, we experience fear, and that fear causes the belief to morph into entitlement and validation for self-preservation.

Fear of others, or fear of things outside of our containers, by Universal Law, is reflected back to us in the form of fear of Self.

Entitlement breeds on fear.

There is only one thing we are all entitled to, and it’s written in the Incarnation Intentions:

We are entitled to human experience.

That’s it. The rest is up to us.

Isn’t it time we used that experience for conscious change rather than selfish gain and validation?

Imagine. #PriestessPerspective

N.B. This piece of writing is not in any way an attempt to minimise the severity of the racism that is still rife the world over. No one has the right to racism, nor does anyone have the right to be silent on this matter when lives are dependent on immediate & lasting global conscious change. However, I am trying to highlight (at a very specific energetic frequency) how our entitlements (yes even mine) limit the conscious change we are capable of making collectively.
