I think too many people are obsessed with what they can get out of something… focused on their immediate goals, income and needs. And whilst there’s nothing wrong with this (Christ we could all do with serving our own needs a little more), using content, offers and sales to service those needs feels off for me. It’s one night stand energy, when don’t we all want long term love? The quick rush fills the void, scratches an itch, but the after glow is short lived.
